About Us

We're Emily and Emma, the co-founders and hosts of Matter of Facts Podcast.

We started Matter of Facts because we wanted to create a space where young people could engage seriously with the issues and ideas shaping the world around us. We believe that being young shouldn't prevent someone from asking thoughtful questions, forming informed opinions, or contributing to important conversations.

On the podcast, we discuss a wide range of topics, from technology and language to culture, education, politics, and current issues. We approach each topic with curiosity and try to look at it from multiple perspectives rather than assuming there is always one simple answer.

We also want Matter of Facts to show what young people are capable of creating. We research our topics, prepare our questions, conduct interviews, produce our episodes, and manage the podcast ourselves. Through the process, we're developing our skills while learning more about the subjects we discuss.

Most importantly, we want our conversations to encourage others to be curious, think critically, and feel comfortable engaging with subjects that are often treated as "adult" conversations.

We're excited to continue growing Matter of Facts, exploring new topics, and learning along the way. Whether it's pop culture, politics or society at large, we're here to cut through the noise and get to the facts that actually matter.
